Tara Smirl (Property & Casualty Department)

Tara began working with PIA in July 2010 as an Administrative Assistant. She became an agent in January 2012 and worked in that role until June 2016. Tara rejoined our team in March 2023 as an Account Manager for Personal Lines, and in January 2026, she transitioned into the Commercial Department as a Policy Service Representative.

Tara met her husband in 1993, and they married in 1996. Although they are now empty nesters, they enjoy spending as much time as possible with their three grown daughters. Tara and her husband also enjoy attending college games and concerts to watch our youngest perform in the band.
